Supt. Raymond, Sac County ‘Teacher of the Year’ to discuss progress, challenges
WHAT: Sacramento City Unified School District’s 2012 ranking on the state’s Academic Performance Index (API) will be revealed at a press conference on Thursday (October 11).Specific data regarding middle schools and the Superintendent’s Priority School program will also be revealed.
Test scores are embargoed by the California Department of Education until 10 a.m. on Thursday.

WHY: SCUSD is the 12th largest school district in California, serving 44,000 students on 81 campuses.
