 Open to all 9th-12th grade students in Sacramento County Jury Appreciation Week Poster Contest Guidelines Selection Does HRT OF Execution of the theme: Does the Artwork Original, hand-created poster clearly depict an aspect ofRE Kartwork posters. All art styles Jury Service? RI Creativity: Originality and uniqueness of the artist's idea of Jury Service. Overall Impression: The artwork clearly reflects the message of Jury Service in good taste. Deadline: Due by May 6, 2025. Deliver to the Gordon D. Schaber Sacramento County Courthouse, will be accepted. Submissions may be the work of an individual or group. Artwork must make a visual statement about Jury Service and/or jurors serving. Images with text are accepted. • The poster must measure 11" x 17" Prize Pizza party with judicial officers 720 9th Street, Room 203, and/or Jury Commissioner. The Sacramento Superior Court is now accepting entries for its third annual Jury Appreciation Week Poster Contest.

This poster contest allows 9th- through 12th-grade students living in Sacramento County to express their interpretation of Jury Service by making hand-crafted posters. Students are encouraged to express their perspectives on jury duty creatively.

Submitted posters will be displayed during Jury Appreciation Week, May 12-16, 2025. Jurors serving during this period will have the opportunity the vote for their favorite posters. The poster winner will be invited to a pizza party with judicial officers and/or the Jury Commissioner.

Students are our future jurors and this contest is meant to encourage discussion about jury service. It is a fun and creative way to introduce our future jurors to their civic responsibility and inspire our current jurors.
