The Black Parallel School Board is hosting Black Parent Involvement Day, an annual event during Black History Month that invites parents to engage with their student’s education by observing classes and meeting teachers. You are encouraged to participate and help spread the word with your school community. Flyers are attached that you may use to help promote Black Parent Involvement Day. 

Black Parent Involvement Day will be on Tuesday, February 18 this year.

Families may prepare for Black Parent Involvement Day by attending the Parent Classroom Observation Training on February 13. This virtual session will equip them with tools to effectively observe and support their child’s learning environment.
