Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC)
Students who have been victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE) face additional challenges in the school setting. Our work is informed by survivor and youth voice with the goal of providing prevention and intervention services so that no student falls through the cracks. Using trauma informed practices, all at-risk or identified CSEC students within SCUSD have access to the following services:
- Advocacy
- Mentoring
- School Re-Entry Support
- Case Management
- Referrals to community providers
- School based support services
- Small Group Sessions
- Peer Mentoring
- Training
- Crisis Assessment
- Safety Planning
