Dear Sac City Unified families,

Join us and Black Parallel School Board for an in-person or virtual town hall and listening session. We will be discussing the landmark settlement agreement between Black Parallel School Board and SCUSD and our collaborative strategies for improving special education in our district, with a particular focus on addressing disproportionality that has negatively impacted Black and African American students. 

We are offering two meeting dates:

• September 26 from 6-8pm: Hiram Johnson High School auditorium

This is an important opportunity to let your voice be heard and better understand what action steps are being taken to address problems around special education in our system.
