In case you missed it, at last night’s Sac City Unified Board of Education meeting, the Board formally approved a recently negotiated compensation agreement with the Sacramento City Teachers Association (SCTA), which includes a 10% ongoing salary increase.

The Board also:

• Appointed Kelly Dunkley as the new Principal of Capital City School.
• Viewed a special presentation by District staff celebrating the opening of schools last week and the exciting opportunities that await us in the 2023-24 academic year.
• Recognized September as National Attendance Awareness Month to emphasize the importance of starting the school year on the right foot.
