Important: Complete Your LCFF Application by Thursday, October 31
Dear Sac City Unified Families,
As a reminder, Sac City Unified, like all California districts, relies on state funds to operate our schools based on student enrollment and socio-economic status. This funding is determined through the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), which is crucial for our schools.
To ensure that our district receives every dollar of state funding our students deserve, we ask every family to complete and submit an LCFF Application by Thursday, October 31.
Submitting a qualifying LCFF application also enhances your student’s eligibility for California’s Summer-EBT program, SUN Bucks, which provides $40 per month for food during June, July, and August (totaling $120). Participation in SUN Bucks does not impact a family’s immigration status.
It is essential to submit an application for every student. Without it, our school may miss out on critical funding.
If you haven’t submitted your LCFF Application yet, please complete the online form by next Thursday, October 31.
For those who have already submitted their applications, we extend our deepest gratitude.
Thank you for your continued support of our schools!
