Our mission at Albert Einstein Middle School is to prepare students to show initiative, strive for personal excellence and actively contribute to a team in order to compete and succeed in high school, college, career, and life.
Our vision is to provide a public Waldorf high school education ensuring that our students can successfully engage the world. George Washington Carver School of Arts and Science is a four-year high school with an enrollment at 265 in grades 9 through 12. We anticipate growing each year until we reach capacity at 400 students. George Washington Carver is a college preparatory school and stresses the value of higher education. To that end, we have more graduation requirements than other high schools in Sacramento.
Golden Empire Elementary is a Leader in Me neighborhood school that develops academic excellence through an emphasis on core academics and character development. Our enrichment and intervention programs, GATE cohort, field trips, science lab, Garden Club, Student Council and targeted tutoring programs are great incentives for students. We have an active and highly involved PTO, SSC and ELAC. Golden Empire students exceed district and state averages on state and national achievement tests and is proud of its National Blue Ribbon and California Distinguished School awards and recognition.
The school is nestled in the quiet neighborhood of the College Greens and Glenbrook areas of Sacramento, Bancroft Elementary School offers classes for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and kindergarten through sixth grade students. We have a large, beautiful campus with flower gardens, park areas with picnic tables, over 80 trees, and three large playground structures. Our vision is that “At Bancroft, students are productive, respectful citizens who have skills, knowledge, and continuously reflect on improvement”.
Isador Cohen is a thriving and diverse school of scholars from Transitional Kindergarten to 6th grade. We have a number of speciality programs, including GATE and CREST as well as a number of after school programs. We are one of the few school sites with complimentary morning care from 7:30 – 9:00 and after school care till 6:00 pm. We are also a Leader in Me school that seeks to cultivate student leaderships skills and focus on the unique talents of each learner.
James W. Marshall Elementary is located in the heart of the Rosemont community. The staff at James Marshall is committed to the academic and social emotional success of every student. We have several programs that enhance our daily classroom instruction. We provide leveled intervention in English-language arts for all primary students during the school day. This allows for small group instruction at the students’ instructional level. James Marshall has a partnership with CSU Sacramento and benefits from two different programs.
O.W. Erlewine Elementary is a community school located in a quiet residential neighborhood along the American River Parkway. Erlewine School staff prides itself in providing a safe and nurturing environment from which our students can grow and learn. Erlewine’s campus is beautiful, eclectic and highlights an outdoor learning center that includes a vast nature area and expansive school-based learning garden. Erlewine offers a well-balanced standards-based instructional program, which is closely focused on meeting the individual needs of our students.
Rosemont is committed to providing every student with an education that is rigorous and structured. Sequoia is a school located in the heart of Rosemont. We have a culture of inclusivity for students and families of all cultures, ethnicities, and races. Students and families consistently share their pride and joy for Sequoia. We have a wonderful staff committed to empowering and educating students. Many of our students remain from kindergarten or first grade through their entire elementary years.
